Barking and Dagenham Council

Lucentia managed a hoarding project for London Borough of Barking and Dagenham as part of a package of projects for the regeneration of the town centre funded by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund. The project UP! was created with artists Kiran Chahal and Helen Bridges to celebrate Barking and its future. UP! aims were to raise aspirations, build skills and connect the community in its regeneration. After extensive engagement with young people, a series of printed dibond artwork panels were fabricated and installed for four construction sites over Barking. The dibond panels were treated with an anti-graffiti laminate as their design would let them be re-used as the sites changed with the on going regeneration development.
